Signing of a Cooperation Agreement between Dhale University and the National Laboratory for Central Public Health Laboratories in Sana’a

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hatem Al-Daies, Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, a joint cooperation agreement was signed this morning in the capital, Sana’a, between Dhale University and the National Laboratory for Central Public Health Laboratories in Sana’a. The agreement aims to strengthen scientific and research partnerships, develop training and qualification programs and laboratory services, and support the educational and practical processes at the College of Medical Sciences at Dhale University.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Dhale University by Prof. Dr. Ali Said Al-Tareq, President of the University, and on behalf of the National Laboratory by Dr. Abdulilah Al-Harazi, Director General of the National Laboratory for Central Public Health Laboratories in Sana’a.
The agreement consists of 15 provisions focusing on practical training and qualification for Dhale University students, supporting scientific research, and developing training and applied programs in ways that enhance the quality of educational outcomes and strengthen the link between academic knowledge and practical and field-based application.
The agreement also stipulates that Dhale University will supervise the branch of the National Laboratory for Central Public Health Laboratories located at the Mother and Child Center in Damt District, Al-Dhalea Governorate.
The agreement further provides students of the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department at the College of Medical Sciences at Dhale University with opportunities to benefit from the facilities, expertise, and capabilities available at the National Laboratory. It also provides for the implementation of practical and applied training programs, particularly internship training for final-year students, contributing to the development of their professional skills and enhancing their readiness for the labor market in accordance with approved technical and professional standards.
The signing ceremony was attended, on behalf of Dhale University, by Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Dhaib, Vice President for Student Affairs; Dr. Yahya Al-Fujair, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Adel Haidan, Assistant President for Graduate Studies; and Prof. Dr. Salim Al-Riyashi, Advisor to the University President, along with a number of specialists and representatives from both sides.
Prof. Dr. Ali Said Al-Tareq, President of Dhale University, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the administration of the National Laboratory for Central Public Health Laboratories in Sana’a for its warm reception and for its commitment to strengthening cooperation with Dhale University. He emphasized the importance of the agreement in supporting students of the College of Medical Sciences, particularly students of the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department, and in equipping them with practical experience and professional skills.
