A protest by leaders and members of Al-Dhali' University condemning the assassination of the Mujahid Ismail Haniyeh

On Thursday, August 1, 2024 (corresponding to Muharram 26, 1446 AH), Al-Dhali' University held a protest to condemn the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, and the Israeli-American aggression against Lebanon and Iraq.

During the protest, which was attended by the University President, Professor Dr. Ali Al-Tariq, and all university staff, participants chanted slogans condemning the assassination of the martyr Ismail Haniyeh in Iran. They also raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags and banners denouncing the ongoing Zionist aggression against Gaza amidst international silence and Arab and Islamic inaction.

In the statement read by student Fawzi Al-Haqab, he praised the legendary steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of all the brutal crimes committed by the Zionists against our brothers in Gaza.

The statement reaffirmed the unwavering and principled stance of the Yemeni people in supporting the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance, emphasizing their determination to proceed with the fifth phase of escalation with unwavering resolve to confront the Zionist entity and support the Palestinian people.
